The Cotswold Company

The Cotswold Company handcraft furniture inspired by the Cotswolds. Their existing customers know that these beautiful pieces will be in their family for years to come. Following a rebrand, the company wanted to take this message to a much broader audience.

The Challenge

The Cotswold Company asked AB to create three 30-second ads for Sky Adsmart. They wanted to move away from price points and DRTV. Instead, they wanted ‘honest, inspiring, homely and welcoming’ ads that instilled confidence in the brand.

Our Response

The films centre around the kinds of small stories that unfold in the target audience’s homes. As a brand that is honest and homely, it felt only natural to show little moments of truth that many people can identify with.

The ads show that furniture is a key part of any family home and while life isn’t perfect, at least your furniture can be.

The ads are narrated by actor and writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

The Impact

The three ads have been seen more than 140,000 times collectively on YouTube.

AB delivered three commercials that really encapsulate our aspirational values, and the chaos that comes with everyday family life wrapped up with a sense of humour.
