When we were introduced to Olympia Auctions in summer 2024, they knew they could get better results from their digital activity. We were tasked with refining their digital strategy, improving website usability and ensuring every pound spent delivered a strong return.

Just like every strong auction begins with a detailed catalogue, every strong digital strategy begins with an audit. We carried out a full digital review to understand exactly what was working and where there were opportunities for improvement. From SEO and paid search to email marketing and social media, the audit gave us the clarity to build a strategy that was both ambitious and practical.

This upfront work was key. It meant we could identify areas that had real potential, such as more focused Search campaigns and better targeting, and avoid wasting time on activity that would not deliver value.

Campaigns that spark interest

With the audit complete, we launched a series of tactical campaigns aimed at reaching the right audiences.

Google Search – We launched six dedicated campaigns within a 50-mile radius targeting sellers across specialist departments including Pictures, Silver, Jewellery and Watches, Art and Antiques and Valuation Services.

Always-on activity – Google and Meta campaigns designed to highlight Jewellery, Indian and Islamic Art and personal home visits. These are all areas where Olympia Auctions shines and where they are keen to grow their reputation.

The hammer has come down with impressive results: an 82% increase in Google Search conversions year on year and 130% more monthly campaign impressions compared with when we began. That is proof that the right targeting and the right creative can truly raise the stakes.
