Senior Account Manager

We’re looking for a brilliant Senior Account Manager (SAM) to play a key role in our clients’ brand and marketing strategies.

We’re a brand and marketing agency (headquartered in Exeter with an office in London) that works across various sectors including engineering, technology, utilities, education, tourism, food and beverages and more.

We love introducing new people to our team and growing the business, which is why we’re excited to announce that we’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to join us.

The role

Our Account Managers play a key role within our agency and, as a Senior Account Manager, you’ll become an important part of that team.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Liaising with clients and building great working relationships
  • Ensuring that all work developed and presented is relevant, on brief and in keeping with the client’s brand objectives
  • Expanding business with existing clients
  • Completing projects to specific schedules and within agreed budgets
  • Using your skills to push clients, and the agency, creatively and strategically

As a senior member of the team, you’ll need to show leadership, make clear recommendations, simplify issues and be comfortable challenging appropriately to deliver what the client needs.

The person

As our Senior Account Manager, you will need:

  • Account management experience, ideally gained within an advertising or full-service agency
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • An understanding of AB’s brand and marketing expertise including Strategy, Brand, Digital, Marketing, Advertising and Film
  • Curiosity by the bucket load! We love people who are keen to learn about anything and everything, and who also have the confidence to know where and when to dig further and when to bring in other experts
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A keen attention to detail and ability to manage clients’ budgets
  • Great relationship building skills
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques
